I earned a Master of Fine Arts from the California College of the Arts, San Francisco, California, in Design, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in Ceramics from Alfred University, Alfred, New York.

As an undergraduate, I studied abroad at the Central Academy of Fine Arts Beijing School of City Design, Beijing, China, where I used orthographic drawing to overcome the language barrier to produce functional ceramic products including tea pots and ewers.

I have shown my work in juried art shows and invitational galleries on both the East and West Coast, including a modular furniture design solo exhibition at the SilpeGallery in West Hartford, Connecticut, using common hardware store materials together with 3-D printed joints.

When not thinking about or producing new work, I find inspiration by riding my bicycle across the Golden Gate Bridgeand into the Marin Headlands.
